Located on the picturesque Tonkiy Cape, where the sea air meets the scent of pine needles, is the 70th Anniversary of Victory Park. This modern and well-maintained corner, which graces sunny Gelendzhik, was officially opened in 2015. The park is a harmonious blend of a memorial zone and a cozy place for relaxation, carefully preserving a history significant to the whole of Russia.

On an area of about 2 hectares, more than 600 trees have been planted, including majestic spruces, cypresses, and famous pines that create pleasant shade on hot days. The center of visitors' attention is a unique two-meter monument in the shape of a red star rising above a soldier's tunic. The memorial atmosphere is complemented by information boards telling of the city's heroic deeds during the war years and a mass grave of the defending heroes.
The park delights not only with its historical component but also with its landscaping. Strolling along the neat alleys, you can come across two stocked ponds, home to koi carp and turtles. A special symbol of the connection between eras is the memory capsule laid here, which is planned to be opened in 2045 in honor of the centenary of Victory.
