Mysterious witnesses of deep antiquity greet travelers in the vicinity of a popular resort. The Museum of Dolmens is a unique open-air archaeological complex located near Gelendzhik. Here, amidst the picturesque Caucasian nature, stand majestic megalithic structures that are thousands of years old.

The core of the exhibition consists of massive stone slabs arranged in the shape of "stone tables"—which is exactly how the name of these objects translates. In Russia, such monuments are predominantly found in the Western Caucasus. The complex includes not only the dolmens themselves, dating back to the 4th–2nd millennia BC, but also the remains of an ancient tower and barrow burials belonging to representatives of ancient farming cultures.
The "Nazarova Shchel 1" group, which became the subject of close scientific attention in the late 1990s, is of particular value. This place is not just a collection of stones, but a real portal to the past, allowing you to touch the mysteries of the Bronze Age. The museum has a high rating among tourists thanks to its historical authenticity and a special energy that many describe as mystical.
