The Sakhalin Zoobotanical Park is a unique state-funded cultural institution located in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia. This park is a wonderful complex where visitors can encounter a variety of animal and plant species gathered in one place.

The territory of the zoobotanical park covers about 8 hectares, 4 of which are scenic forest that has been an integral part of the exhibition since its founding. This space allows for creating conditions as close to nature as possible for the inhabitants and offers visitors pleasant walks in the fresh air.
The park's collection is truly impressive. As of February 2013, it numbered 174 species and 489 individual animals. The botanical side is equally rich and diverse: it features 12 types of shrubs, 15 types of trees, 7 types of vines, 90 types of cultivated plants, 80 types of herbaceous plants, and even 40 types of mushrooms.
The Sakhalin Zoobotanical Park is not just a place for relaxation but also an important cultural and educational center of the Sakhalin Region. It plays a significant role in public education and biodiversity conservation, providing a great opportunity for both adults and children to study nature.
