Imagine a corner of pristine nature stretching across the picturesque Heitern mountain plateau. Heitern Wildlife Park is a unique forest reserve located in the charming town of Zofingen. Here, amidst majestic centuries-old trees, wild animals live in spacious enclosures that closely mimic their natural habitat.
In Switzerland, this place is often called the "Deer Park" (Hirschpark), and it is rightfully considered an ideal location for a family holiday. In the park, you can encounter noble axis deer, stately red and spotted sika deer, as well as wild boars and mouflons.
One of the park's main features is its accessibility: entrance to the territory is completely free. In addition to the animal enclosures, visitors will find a vast fruit orchard with more than 700 rare tree varieties. The well-maintained territory is complemented by picnic zones and a children's playground, and breathtaking panoramic views of the old town's tiled roofs and surroundings open up from the height of the plateau.
