Tucked away among vibrant urban neighborhoods, the Rockridge-Temescal Greenbelt is a wonderful linear oasis. Known to locals as Frog Park, this green space stretches for approximately 5.6 km, connecting picturesque neighborhoods near the city of Emeryville. The park was established on a strip of land directly above the underground culvert of Temescal Creek, transforming a technical area into a blooming garden.

Strolling through the park, visitors find themselves in a true urban sanctuary. Here, you can see majestic groves of redwoods, oak plantings, and meadows with wildflowers specifically selected to attract butterflies. One of the main features is a man-made stream where water is supplied by pumps, creating the soothing sound of flowing water amidst the city bustle.
The park territory is divided into two key zones: the northern section—Hardy Park (known as "Big Frog")—and the southern section—Redondo Park ("Little Frog"). This entire green corridor in the USA serves as an important place for relaxation, walking, and connecting with nature, while remaining an accessible and modern public space.
