What to Do

At the Hollywood Aquatic Center, everyone will find something to enjoy. Lap swimmers can take advantage of the 25-yard competition pool, making it an ideal spot for those who want to stay fit even while on vacation. Please note that visitors under 18 must pass a brief swim test to use the lap lanes.

For a family day out, the center features an outdoor water park area. Here, you can have a blast on the steep water slides or in the interactive play pool equipped with fountains and sprayers. For the little ones and those just learning to swim, there is a separate indoor instructional pool maintained at a comfortable temperature of around 26-28°C.

A pleasant bonus is the very affordable pricing: admission for children costs just a few dollars, making the center one of the most budget-friendly options for quality leisure in the city. Additionally, the center frequently hosts seasonal events and swimming lessons, which you can learn about through current flyers or the complex's social media pages.

Getting There

Finding this aquatic oasis is quite simple—it is located in the eastern part of the city, between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard. If you are planning to travel by car, the drive from the city center takes about 15–20 minutes. There is convenient free parking available for visitors on-site.

For those who prefer public transport, RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) buses run nearby. Stops are located in the immediate vicinity on Hollywood Boulevard, making the center accessible even for tourists without a car.

If you have just arrived, the trip from Las Vegas International Airport (LAS) by taxi or via Uber and Lyft services will take no more than 20 minutes. This is the most comfortable and fastest way to get there without worrying about transfers.

History & Facts

Time Needed

To fully enjoy everything the center has to offer, we recommend setting aside 2 to 4 hours for your visit. This is plenty of time to enjoy a swim in the indoor pools, relax in the lounge area, and try out the outdoor attractions during the warmer months.

If your goal is strictly lap training, 1–1.5 hours might be enough. However, families with children usually spend much more time here, alternating between interactive water play and sliding down the water slides.

Working Hours

The center's schedule is convenient for both early-morning swimmers and those who prefer evening sessions. From Monday to Friday, the doors are open from 07:00 to 20:00. On Saturday, the complex operates on a reduced schedule from 09:00 to 16:00, and it is closed on Sundays.

Keep in mind that the operating hours for the outdoor slide area may vary depending on the season and weather conditions. The center is also closed on US federal holidays. Before your visit, we highly recommend checking the official website or Facebook page to confirm the current schedule for your specific date.
