The Norfolk Scope Arena is an impressive multi-purpose complex located in Norfolk, USA. It features a large arena capable of seating up to 11,000 spectators and is part of a larger ensemble that includes the 2,500-seat Chrysler Hall theater. This makes it a vital center for the cultural and sporting life of the region.

The main distinguishing feature of the arena is its unique architecture. A massive monolithic concrete dome rises above the complex, with a diameter of about 130 meters (440 feet) and a height of approximately 34 meters (110 feet). Interestingly, after the demolition of the Kingdome in Seattle in 2000, Norfolk Scope once again became the holder of the title of the world's largest reinforced thin-shell concrete dome.
This grandiose dome is supported by 24 massive buttresses, giving the building not only strength but also a memorable futuristic appearance. Inside, the arena has an oval shape, and the dimensions of the main floor are 227 by 113 feet, providing an extensive 24,466 square feet of space for a wide variety of events—from sporting competitions and concerts by global stars to exhibitions and conferences.
