The climate of the El Agami resort area, located on the coast of Egypt, is Mediterranean. Here, tourists can expect long, hot, and practically cloudless summers, as well as mild, refreshing winters. Seasonality is clearly felt in this region throughout the year. The summer months are characterized by stable dry weather, while the winter period brings a slight drop in temperature and stronger winds. This makes El Agami attractive for beach vacations for most of the year, offering guests plenty of sunny days and clear skies.

The overall climate is considered highly favorable for tourism. The low percentage of cloud cover, especially from June to September, guarantees excellent conditions for relaxing on the coast, while moderate winter temperatures allow for comfortable exploration of the surroundings without the exhausting heat.

The temperature regime in El Agami is predictable and comfortable for travelers. The hottest months are August and July, when average daytime highs reach +30...+31°C. During this period, nights remain warm (around +24°C), and daily temperature fluctuations can be quite noticeable, especially away from the coastline.

The winter period in this corner of Egypt is quite mild. The lowest temperatures are recorded in January and February: during the day, the air warms up to +17...+18°C, while at night, the thermometer can drop to +12°C. Spring and autumn offer the most pleasant weather for those who dislike intense heat—in March and October, temperatures fluctuate within a comfortable range of +20°C to +27°C.

Special attention should be paid to water temperature. The swimming season in El Agami is most comfortable from June to October, when the sea warms up to +22...+25°C. Even in the winter months, the water temperature rarely drops below +17°C, which is significantly warmer than in many other Mediterranean regions at the same time of year.

Precipitation in the El Agami area is a fairly rare occurrence, typical of an arid Mediterranean climate. There is no pronounced rainy season, and annual rainfall is minimal. Snow is completely absent from this region, and rare rains usually take the form of short-lived showers that are quickly replaced by clear skies.

The "wettest" time of year is considered to be the period from December to February. January sees the maximum amount of precipitation (about 45 mm) and roughly 10 rainy days per month. During this time, the sky may be overcast more often, but even in winter, most days remain sunny and dry.

The summer months, especially July and August, are characterized by extreme dryness. The probability of precipitation during this time is practically zero. Despite the lack of rain, the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea results in high humidity (up to 80%), which is important to consider when planning active outdoor recreation.

For a trip to El Agami during the summer (June–September), light clothing made from natural fabrics such as cotton or linen is the ideal choice. Be sure to bring a hat, high-quality sunglasses, and SPF 30–50+ sunscreen, as solar activity in Egypt is very high. For evening walks by the water, a light windbreaker may come in handy, as temperatures can drop to a comfortable but cool +22°C.

A winter wardrobe (December–February) should be more diverse. Despite the warm days, evenings during this period are cool, so you will need sweaters, long pants, and light jackets. Using a layering approach will allow you to feel comfortable when moving between sunny streets and shaded indoors.
