What to Do

The main reason to visit this place is the magnificent spa complex. Here you can choose between an active zone with pools and saunas or the exclusive Silent Spa, where traditions of ancient Roman baths are observed and an atmosphere of complete silence is maintained for deep relaxation. Be sure to try the signature treatments using the therapeutic muds for which this region is famous.

Gastronomic experiences are also an important part of the vacation. The hotel features restaurants serving modern cuisine made from local seasonal products. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the sunset and the coastal park will be an unforgettable end to the day.

In the warm season, guests can enjoy direct access to the famous sandy beach. Morning jogs along the promenade, yoga on the sand, or simply quietly contemplating the sea waves — all this is available just a stone's throw from your room.

Getting There

Getting to Hedon Spa & Hotel is quite simple, as it is located in the very heart of the resort zone, directly by the sandy beach. If you are already in the city center, the walk to the hotel will take about 15–20 minutes. The path will lie through picturesque park zones leading to the famous Pärnu promenade.

For those arriving at the city bus station with luggage, the most convenient option is a taxi. The trip will take just 5–7 minutes. City buses also run in this area during the summer season, but stops may be located at some distance from the hotel entrance, so a taxi or walking remains the preferred method.

History & Facts

The building that houses part of the complex today is a true legend of the resort. It is the historic Pärnu Mud Baths, built in 1927. This majestic neoclassical structure served as a symbol of health tourism in the region for many years, attracting guests from all over Europe with its healing procedures.

Architects Olev Siinmaa and Erich von Wolffeldt created a design that fit perfectly into the coastal landscape. A beautiful park with a fountain was laid out in front of the building, emphasizing the status of this place as an elite institution for rest and treatment.

After a large-scale renovation completed in 2014, the historic building found a second life, becoming part of the modern Hedon Spa & Hotel complex. Restorers carefully preserved the historic facade and many interior elements, harmoniously combining them with the modern architecture of the new hotel wing, creating a unique ensemble of the past and present.

Time Needed

If you do not plan to stay overnight at the hotel and only want to visit the spa complex, expect to spend at least 3–4 hours here. This is enough time to enjoy the pools, saunas, and perhaps one of the relaxing treatments without rushing.

For a complete rest, including a visit to the Silent Spa, lunch at the restaurant, and walks along the beach, it is better to set aside a whole day or book a weekend stay. The atmosphere of the place encourages slow and thoughtful leisure.

Working Hours

The hotel welcomes guests around the clock, ensuring a high level of service at any time of day or night. The reception desk operates without breaks, allowing for comfortable check-in even with late arrivals.

According to the official schedule, Hedon Spa & Hotel is open 24 hours a day from Monday to Sunday. However, it is worth noting that the opening hours of the spa zone, treatment rooms, and restaurants may differ from the hotel's operating mode and vary depending on the season.

Nearby

The hotel's location on the first coastline makes it an excellent starting point for exploring the surroundings. A walk through the coastal park and promenade will allow you to discover many monuments and historical places connected with the rich culture of the resort. This is an ideal opportunity to combine a relaxing vacation with educational excursions.
