In the very heart of the ancient city of Pskov, within the cozy Children's Park, stands the majestic Monument to Princess Olga. This bronze sculptural composition is not just a city decoration, but a symbol of deep respect for the woman who stood at the origins of Russian statehood and Christianity in Rus'. Russia honors the memory of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess, and this monument is considered one of the region's main spiritual landmarks.

The sculpture, over 4 meters high, depicts Olga in austere robes, blessing her grandson—the future Grand Duke Vladimir. The young prince holds an icon with the face of the Savior, symbolizing the continuity of faith and power. The monument was created by People's Artist Vyacheslav Klykov and opened in 2003, as a gift to the city for its 1100th anniversary.

It is decorated with relief images of twelve Pskov saints, among whom one can recognize Prince Dovmont-Timothy, St. Cornelius of the Pskov-Caves, and other defenders of the faith and the Russian land. This makes the monument a veritable open book on the history of the Pskov region.
