Biarritz Lighthouse (Phare de Biarritz) is a majestic symbol and one of the most recognizable spots on the map of Biarritz. Perched atop the rocky Cape Saint-Martin, it stands proudly above the turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean, marking the boundary between the sandy coastline and the rugged shores for which southwestern France is famous.

The snow-white tower, 47 meters high, was built in the first half of the 19th century. Thanks to its elevated location, the lighthouse's beam is visible from a height of more than 73 meters above sea level. Today, it is not only an important navigational aid but also an officially recognized historical monument, open to anyone wishing to touch the maritime history of the region.
The lighthouse attracts tourists with its classical architecture and the chance to see the coastline from a bird's-eye view. It is an ideal spot for those who want to feel the power of the ocean and enjoy some of the best panoramic views in this part of the country.
