The Pizzomunno Monolith is a majestic natural monument of white limestone that has become the hallmark of the city of Vieste. This massive 25-meter-high rock stack rises solitarily against the golden sands of Scialara Beach, creating one of the most recognizable landscapes in all of Italy.

This unique geological formation was created by many years of erosion, as sea waves and winds gradually carved the shape of the rock. Today, Pizzomunno is part of the Gargano National Park and attracts thousands of tourists with its pristine beauty and mystical atmosphere, which is particularly striking in the rays of the setting sun.
