What to Do

The park features four main courses designed for different skill levels. For the youngest visitors, there is an easy children's course with 18 obstacles. Teenagers and adults can test their strength on the medium course (24 obstacles) or challenge themselves on the difficult course with 25 trials, which requires good flexibility and endurance.

A particular highlight of the park is the breathtaking zip lines (Tyrolean traverses). One of them passes directly over the Forest Stadium at a height of 18 meters, with its two stages totaling an impressive 333 meters. Another 123-meter zip line is suspended over the road, offering a sense of flight and a dose of adrenaline.

Before starting the adventure, all guests undergo training on special practice routes near the ground. For those who want to keep a memory of their feat, the park offers a GoPro recording service, allowing you to share your excitement with friends later.

Getting There

Getting to this leisure spot is quite easy, as the park is located at Parkowa 3, within the picturesque city forest. This makes it easily accessible for both residents of Olsztyn and guests of the city, thanks to the well-developed transport network.

You can use public transport: buses run to stops in the Forest Stadium area, from which the park entrance is just a few minutes' walk. If you prefer comfort, a taxi from the city center will take you to your destination in just 5-10 minutes.

For those traveling by car, parking is available nearby. Look for the Forest Stadium coordinates, as the park is located in the immediate vicinity of this historical sports facility.

History & Facts

The park's location is historically significant in itself. It is situated next to the Forest Stadium—one of the oldest athletic facilities in Poland, founded back in 1920. This place is steeped in the atmosphere of past sporting triumphs.

During the interwar period and later, world records were repeatedly set here. For example, in 1960 at the national championship, Helmut Hirschfeld set a record in the shot put, and in 1970, the legendary Józef Szmidt set a world record in the triple jump here.

Although the rope park itself is a modern addition to the forest landscape, it harmoniously continues the traditions of active recreation and sports established here over a century ago. While completing the courses, visitors literally come into contact with the living history of the city, hidden beneath the canopies of ancient trees.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy all the park has to offer, it is recommended to set aside 2 to 4 hours. This is usually enough time to go through the safety briefing, master the training routes, and complete one or two of the main courses.

The exact duration of your visit will depend on your physical fitness, the chosen difficulty level, and the number of people in your group. Families with children planning to tackle several routes should ideally allow for half a day so the experience is unhurried and enjoyable.

Working Hours

Please take note of the operating schedule, as the park mainly welcomes guests on weekends. The Forest Rope Park is open for visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 18:00.

On weekdays (Monday to Friday), the facility is officially closed. It is recommended to plan your visit for a weekend morning to ensure you have enough time before closing.
