Maria Konopnicka Square is the cozy and vibrant heart of the city of Suwałki, located in the picturesque country of Poland. As one of the central points of the historical district, it attracts travelers with its harmonious architecture and a special atmosphere of continuity between generations.

The main centerpiece of this location is the monument to the outstanding Polish writer Maria Konopnicka. She was born here in 1842 and became a true symbol of national literature. The modern bronze sculpture by B. Chmielewski appeared in the square in 2010, replacing an earlier stone monument and becoming an important cultural landmark.
The square is seamlessly integrated into the landscape of the historical center: it is connected by a pedestrian zone to Piłsudski Square, forming a single space for strolling. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the region's heritage and the architectural Classicism for which the city's central streets are so famous.
