History & Facts

The creation of O'Hara Irish Pub was the result of the owners' great love for the culture of the "Emerald Isle." To recreate the spirit of a true alehouse in Velikiye Luki, the project team undertook an extensive journey across Ireland. They visited Dublin, the central counties, and the west coast, studying the details of interiors and hospitality in historical establishments.

The building's concept was developed by architect Andrey Timoshenko, who managed to embody every detail in the project. A special role in creating the atmosphere was played by consultant Chesterfield (Chas) McLaughlin—a world-renowned expert with hundreds of successfully opened pubs across the globe to his credit. Thanks to this professional approach, the bar counter and other decorative elements turned out to be as authentic as possible.

Interestingly, almost all the furniture for the establishment was manufactured at a specialized Irish factory. Every dish on the menu also has its own story: the brand chef developed the recipes from scratch, inspired by culinary traditions observed among local chefs in Irish towns. The pub continues the traditions of ancient drinking establishments, where comfort and hospitality have always been the top priority.

Time Needed

To leisurely enjoy the atmosphere and appreciate the chef's skill, guests usually need 1 to 3 hours. This time is quite sufficient for a full dinner, tasting signature drinks, and pleasant conversation with friends.

If you plan to stop by for a quick snack or a glass of cold beer, 30–60 minutes may be enough. However, the cozy interior and soft lighting often encourage staying a little longer.

Working Hours

The pub welcomes guests daily, although the schedule varies depending on the day of the week. From Monday to Thursday, the doors are open from 12:00 PM to midnight. On Friday, the establishment stays open until 2:00 AM, allowing you to fully enjoy the start of the weekend. On Saturday, the pub opens a bit later, at 3:00 PM, and hosts guests until 2:00 AM, while on Sunday it operates from 3:00 PM to midnight.
