Located in the picturesque center of Vitebsk, this site is a harmonious blend of a memorial zone and a cozy spot for family relaxation. Winners Park (Park Pobediteley) stretches across about 4 hectares along the high bank of the Western Dvina, offering visitors both historical significance and magnificent panoramic views of the river.
As one of the key attractions carefully preserved by Belarus, the park is an integral part of the Victory Square ensemble. Here, the formal shapes of granite stairs and terraced alleys sit alongside lush greenery and modern playgrounds, creating a unique atmosphere of both tranquility and solemnity.
The park's main feature is its versatility. It is simultaneously an open-air military equipment museum and a well-developed embankment with classic-style rotundas. People come here to touch history, enjoy the cool mist of the fountains, or simply take an evening stroll under the shade of valuable tree species.
