The Monument to the 1000th Anniversary of Vitebsk is a majestic memorial complex located in the heart of Vitebsk. Created in 1974 for the grand jubilee of the city's founding, it has become an important symbol of Belarus. The central part of the composition is a monument consisting of three 56-meter bayonets reaching skyward, embodying the continuity of history and the courage of the people.

The complex stretches along the picturesque banks of the Western Dvina River and is part of Victory Square, which for a long time held the status of one of the largest in Europe. This place harmoniously combines a solemn memorial zone with a green park, where both locals and visitors enjoy spending their time.
For tourists, the 1000th Anniversary Monument is interesting not only for its scale but also for the magnificent panoramic views overlooking the historical hills and the river. It is an ideal starting point for exploring ancient Vitebsk, combining the powerful energy of the past with the tranquility of a modern city park.
