Getting to this picturesque recreation spot is easy. Dolphin Park is located at 2 Ostuzheva Street, in the Zheleznodorozhny District on the left bank. If you are planning a trip by car, it is most convenient to take Ostuzheva Avenue or cross one of the bridges connecting the reservoir's banks. A parking area is provided near the main entrance.

Public transport users can take numerous buses and minibuses (for example, routes No. 3A, 15, 25A) to the "Park Dolphin" or "Ostuzheva" stops. The journey from the railway station will take about 20–30 minutes, depending on the traffic situation.

During the warmer months, there is a more romantic way—the waterway. There is a pier right in the park where motorboats and water taxis dock. You can also always call a taxi from the city center, which will quickly take you to the park's main gates.

The history of this green corner began in the late 1940s, when the first pines were planted on the left bank to protect the city from winds. In the 1970s, the "Elektronika" plant took over the landscaping of the territory, turning the plantation into a full-fledged factory park. The official opening of Dolphin Park took place on June 1, 1975, on International Children's Day.

During the Soviet period, the park was a real center of attraction: there were rides, a shooting range, a cycle track, and tame squirrels lived among the pines. However, in the 1990s, the territory fell into decay due to a lack of funding. For a long time, ambitious plans to build a dolphinarium remained only projects on paper.

A new life for "Dolphin" began in 2020, when the park was transferred under a concession to entrepreneur Eduard Tolokonnikov. A large-scale reconstruction, which lasted until 2022, completely transformed the space while preserving the pine forest beloved by citizens and filling it with modern meanings and infrastructure. Today, it stands as an example of successful public-private partnership in urban landscaping.

To fully enjoy the park's atmosphere and try the main activities, it is recommended to plan a visit of 2 to 4 hours. This time is quite enough for a leisurely stroll through the pine alleys, relaxing on the pier, and visiting a couple of attractions or sports zones.
