Uludağ National Park is one of Turkey's largest and most famous natural treasures, located just a few dozen kilometers south of the city of Bursa. The park covers the territory of Mount Uludağ, which is the highest point in Western Anatolia, reaching an altitude of 2,543 meters. It is a place where the majesty of nature blends with a rich history: in ancient times, the mountain was known as Mysian Olympus, and according to myths, it was from its peaks that the gods watched the progress of the Trojan War.
The park's territory impresses with its variety of landscapes: here you can see dense coniferous and deciduous forests, alpine meadows, picturesque mountain lakes, and valleys. Unique flora and fauna make this place ideal for those who want to get to know the region's wildlife. Various animal species inhabit the forests, including bears, wolves, and roe deer, as well as over 90 species of birds.
