Have you ever wondered what children played with two centuries ago? The Canik Toy Museum is a unique space in the city of Samsun that provides the answer. It is officially recognized as the largest toy museum in Turkey and holds a prestigious third place globally for the size of its collection, offering guests a fascinating journey through time.

The halls of the museum, covering approximately 800 square meters, feature around a thousand exhibits. The collection spans a vast period: from a rare human figurine dating back to the 18th century to the familiar Barbie dolls of the early 1980s. Here, you can see authentic Turkish toys alongside antique items from Germany, France, and other countries.
Created with the support of the renowned writer and poet Sunay Akın, this museum has become a true cultural phenomenon. It is not just an exhibition of objects, but a nostalgic and educational space where adults can momentarily return to childhood, and young visitors can expand the boundaries of their imagination while learning history through play.
