Nestled among picturesque terraces that descend gently toward the Vienne River, the Bishop's Botanical Garden is a true green oasis in the heart of Limoges. This site offers an exquisite blend of a classic French formal park and a rich scientific collection featuring more than 1,200 plant species.

Located directly behind the Saint-Étienne Cathedral, this attraction in France covers an area of about 5 hectares. The garden is divided into several functional zones: from systematic plantings organized by family to thematic plots with medicinal, aromatic, and even toxic plants.
Of particular value are the sections reconstructing the natural ecosystems of the Limousin region. Here, you can see rare species of flora typical of local forests and peat bogs. Beyond its scientific value, the garden offers guests stunning panoramic views of the river and is considered one of the city's most beautiful walking areas.
