A variety of interesting facilities are concentrated within the extensive territory of Sakura Town. Among its main components are the unique Kadokawa Culture Museum, various shops offering exclusive goods, cozy restaurants and cafes, as well as cultural pavilions for events and exhibitions. A special place is held by the Musashino Reiwa Shrine, which adds a traditional Japanese touch to the complex.
The architectural jewel and landmark of Tokorozawa Sakura Town is undoubtedly the Kadokawa Culture Museum building. Designed by the world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma, it strikes the imagination with its monumental appearance. The facade, clad in more than 20,000 granite slabs, creates the image of a giant monolith, symbolizing—according to the author's vision—the energy of the earth. This place is not just a museum, but a true work of contemporary art, attracting both culture lovers and architecture enthusiasts.
