Velika Plaža, located near the town of Ulcinj in southern Montenegro, is a true natural treasure and one of the country's most famous beaches. It is Montenegro's largest sandy beach and the longest on its Adriatic coast, with an impressive length of 12 to 14 kilometers. This length ensures a sense of space even during the peak tourist season.

The width of the beach reaches 60 meters in places, and its main feature is the unique, very fine and soft greyish sand. Many consider this sand to be medicinal, which adds a special appeal to Velika Plaža for health-oriented holidays. Walking barefoot on this surface is a true pleasure.
Velika Plaža is ideal for family holidays, especially with young children, thanks to the very gentle entry into the sea and the shallow coastal zone. Those who are not very confident in the water will also feel comfortable here. The beach is famous for its natural landscape and the absence of dense development, allowing visitors to enjoy nature and find secluded corners for peaceful relaxation.
