In the very heart of Bydgoszcz lies Kazimierz Wielki Park—the oldest and one of the most atmospheric parks in the region. Covering an area of over two hectares, this green oasis is a favorite retreat for those seeking peace amidst the urban bustle. The park was named in honor of the great Polish king, whose contribution to the country's development is invaluable.

The grand "The Deluge" (Potop) fountain is considered the centerpiece and a true masterpiece of the park. This impressive bronze composition, recreated in all its glory, depicts a biblical scene and captivates the imagination with the dynamics of its figures. Surrounded by an elegant mosaic and a red sandstone basin, the fountain is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful in Poland.
In addition to the fountain, you can see the majestic monument to Casimir III the Great on horseback. Following a recent renovation, the monument was fitted with modern lighting, making it particularly striking in the evening. The combination of rich history, well-kept paths, and monumental art turns a simple walk through the park into a fascinating journey through time.
