The Modlin Fortress Granary (or the Bank of Poland Granary) is a majestic Neo-Renaissance ruin located in the town of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. This monumental structure, built in the mid-19th century in Poland, is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful industrial and defensive sites in Europe from that era.

The building was designed by architect Jan Jakub Gay and is unique for combining the functions of a massive granary and a powerful defensive outpost. Its walls, standing right at the confluence of the Narew and Vistula rivers, were equipped with embrasures for artillery, making it an impregnable fortress on the water.
Today, this historic site attracts tourists with its rugged beauty and scale. Despite its status as a ruin, the "Spichlerz" remains a significant architectural monument, preserving the spirit of imperial grandeur and the engineering perfection of the past.
