Crossing the majestic Danube, it is impossible to miss one of the city's most significant engineering structures — the Varadin Bridge. This girder-type road bridge serves not just as a road, but as a vital link between the main part of Novi Sad and the historic Petrovaradin district. For Serbia, this structure is a symbol of resilience and the revival of the transport network.

The structure is impressive in its scale: the bridge is over 354 meters long and more than 14 meters wide. Everything for comfortable movement is provided here — from two lanes for cars to dedicated bicycle lanes and pedestrian zones. Engineers even included the possibility of installing tram tracks in the future, highlighting a modern approach to urban planning.
From this point, breathtaking views of the river piers and city architecture open up. The bridge's location makes it especially popular: it is within walking distance of Danube Park, making it a must-see on any tourist's walking route. With a rating of 4.7, it is rightfully considered one of the most recognizable and beloved landmarks in the region.
