Imagine a harmonious blend of water, light, and music in the heart of the historic center. The Singing Fountain is more than just an ornament of the city of Kosice; it is a true cultural icon that attracts thousands of tourists every year. Located on the main street, Hlavná, it is considered the oldest facility of its kind in the former Czechoslovakia.

Created by the talented sculptor Peter Sceranka, this technological masterpiece operates on the principle of perfect synchronization of water jets with multicolored lighting. Every movement of the water here follows the rhythm of the melodies played, turning a simple stroll through Slovakia into an unforgettable audiovisual show.
A special significance is given to the object by a musical instrument — a carillon consisting of 22 bells. Each of them symbolizes one of the city's districts, turning this engineering structure into a living embodiment of city history and unity. After a recent major renovation, the fountain has found a second life, becoming even more vibrant and modern.
