Housed in a historic station building, the Railway Museum (Museo Ferroviario) in Villa Mercedes is a true portal to the past. This cultural landmark is dedicated to the "golden age" of railways, when Argentina was actively expanding its transport network, transforming the region into a vital economic hub.

One of the museum's most captivating features is its colossal railway layout. Spanning an impressive 80 meters with over 600 meters of track, this model painstakingly recreates the historic Molino Fénix station, complete with detailed locomotives and carriages.
The museum is named after its founder, Oraldo Norvel Britos, a former senator and enthusiast whose efforts helped preserve this valuable heritage. Visitors particularly enjoy watching the realistic maneuvers of miniature trains operated by experienced former railway employees.
