On the picturesque right bank of the Neman, in the heart of ancient Grodno, lies Kalozha Park—one of the most peaceful and historically significant places in Belarus. This green expanse occupies the territory of the ancient Kaložan tract, which for centuries served as the spiritual and defensive center of the city. The park harmoniously combines the structured layout of its central avenues with the natural beauty of the riverside landscape.

The main architectural landmark of the park is the famous 12th-century St. Boris and Gleb Church, whose ancient silhouette rises above the river. More than 20 species of trees are planted on the grounds, including oaks, chestnuts, spruces, and rare types of ash, making the air here especially fresh. One of the park's unique features is the Grodno Open-Air Museum of Stone Sculptures, where works by modern masters are seamlessly integrated into the natural environment.
Strolling through the park, visitors can see the commemorative stele for the 850th anniversary of the city and themed walkways, such as the "Victory Lilac" or the "Avenue of the Friendship of Nations." This is a place of attraction for both history buffs and those looking for a relaxing break surrounded by nature while enjoying panoramic views of the Neman and the historic part of the city.
