The Naval Museum is a unique destination where the maritime history of Bulgaria comes to life. Located on the picturesque Primorski Boulevard in the heart of Varna, it is rightfully considered one of the most significant cultural centers and is included in the prestigious "100 Tourist Sites of Bulgaria" list.

The museum is housed in a historical building dating back to 1890, which formerly served as the residence of the Italian ambassador. Today, it showcases an impressive collection dedicated to Bulgarian seafaring and the navy from ancient times to the present day. The exhibition is divided into an indoor section across 12 halls and a spacious outdoor area.
Although about 1,000 items are featured in the permanent exhibition, the museum's archives hold a colossal number of artifacts—more than 100,000 units. This place is ideal for those who want to gain a deeper understanding of Varna's history and the heroic past of Bulgarian sailors.
