The driest season lasts from January to March, when rainfall is minimal, creating ideal conditions for beach holidays and exploring natural beauties. The rest of the year is characterised by higher humidity and frequent rains, peaking in October and November. During this time, nature becomes particularly lush and green.

Despite the presence of a distinct rainy season, the weather in Puerto Jimenez remains warm and inviting for relaxation. Even in the wettest months, rains are often short-lived, quickly giving way to the sun. Tourists are advised to bring light clothing for hot days, as well as reliable rain protection if the trip is planned for the period from May to December.

The temperature regime in Puerto Jimenez is distinguished by enviable stability throughout the year, which is typical for the tropical climate of Costa Rica.
