On the scenic shores of Lake Constance in the town of Lindau stands one of the region's most striking contemporary buildings — Casino Lindau (Spielbank Lindau). This state-owned gambling establishment has become a true landmark of Bavaria. It stands out from the traditional architecture with its futuristic design: panoramic glass facades reflect the lake's surface, while at night, the building transforms into a vibrant art object thanks to colorful light projections on the windows.

The modern complex, designed by the Austrian firm Baum Schlager Eberle, was completed in 2006. Interestingly, the building's shape was inspired by the contours of a casino chip, highlighting its purpose. Today, it is more than just a place for gambling in Germany; it is an important cultural hub attracting tens of thousands of tourists annually.
Inside, guests will find a unique blend of excitement and aesthetics. In addition to the gaming halls, it features the Villagio restaurant, offering breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. The casino is one of nine state-run venues of its kind in Bavaria and is renowned for its elegant yet welcoming atmosphere.
