The Underwater Observatory Marine Park is a unique marine complex and one of the main attractions of Eilat, located on the Red Sea coast in Israel. Founded in 1975, it became the world's first underwater observatory, allowing visitors to peer into the depths of the sea without scuba gear. The park is located in close proximity to Eilat's famous coral reefs, making it an ideal place to observe the rich and diverse marine life in its natural environment.

The main feature of the park is, of course, the underwater observatory itself. It is a tower extending into the depths, where large panoramic windows offer a mesmerizing view of the underwater world. Visitors can spend hours watching schools of colorful fish, passing rays, and other reef inhabitants, creating a feeling of complete immersion. This allows you to see all the splendor of the Red Sea without getting your feet wet.
In addition to the observatory tower, the park features many other interesting exhibits. Large aquariums introduce guests to rare species of fish, sea turtles, and even sharks. One of the most impressive pavilions is "Shark World," where you can walk through a transparent tunnel while formidable predators swim overhead. The park also serves as an important research center where scientists study and preserve the marine ecosystem.
