Tucked away among the rocky shores of Elba Island, the miniature Cotoncello Beach (Spiaggia del Cotoncello) is a true natural gem. This tiny sandy strip, only about 15 meters long, is hidden in a deep bay surrounded by majestic granite cliffs that reliably protect the shore from wind and waves.

The main feature of this place is that it resembles a natural pool with incredibly clear emerald-toned water. The shore here consists of soft golden sand, and on the sides, there are wide flat rocks, perfect for sunbathing. This is one of the most photogenic spots Italy has to offer for lovers of untouched nature.
Despite its wild beauty, Cotoncello is connected to the neighboring Sant'Andrea beach by a picturesque pedestrian path. The route passes over elegant wooden bridges and steps carved directly into the granite, turning a simple walk into an exciting journey along the edge of the sea. There are no noisy bars or umbrella rentals here, allowing guests to enjoy pristine silence and seclusion.
