The Lower Station of the Kasprowy Wierch cable car is the gateway to one of the most breathtaking panoramas of the Polish Tatras. Located in the picturesque Kuźnice district of Zakopane, this station is the starting point for an unforgettable journey to the summit of Kasprowy Wierch. This is where the ascent begins, offering tourists and skiers the chance to enjoy the majestic mountain landscapes of Poland. Every day during the peak season, up to 4,000 people begin their ascent from this spot.
The station in Kuźnice is not just a transport hub, but the first step toward conquering an altitude of nearly 2,000 meters. It is the starting point of a two-section cable car system that, with a transfer at the intermediate station of Myślenickie Turnie, carries passengers to the top. The ride in modern cabins, which accommodate up to 60 people, takes only a few minutes, but the impressions from the views opening up along the way last a lifetime.

This cable car has special historical significance, as it was the first investment of its kind in Poland and the 60th in the world. Its construction in 1935-1936 was a true engineering breakthrough for its time. The system operates on a pendulum principle: while one car ascends, another descends, ensuring continuous and efficient movement. The entire route passes through the territory of the Tatra National Park, making the journey even more precious.
