The 500th Anniversary of Cheboksary Park, now known as the Amazonia ethnocomplex, is one of the most notable and beloved places for relaxation and walks in the city of Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash Republic in Russia. Located on the picturesque high bank of the Volga River near the Chernyshevsky Ravine, this vast park complex attracts both locals and visitors with its unique atmosphere and leisure opportunities.

Originally conceived as the 500th Anniversary of the City Culture and Leisure Park, it sprawls across an impressive 87 hectares. This makes it one of the largest green spaces in Cheboksary, created to provide citizens and tourists with a place for cultural leisure, peaceful walks, and active recreation in nature.
In 2017, the park underwent a significant transformation, becoming the Amazonia ethnocomplex. This change was part of a larger project—the "Ethnic Chuvashia" tourism cluster. Thanks to this, the park has not only retained its recreational functions but has also been enriched with a new cultural and educational component, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the traditions and history of the Chuvash people.
