These reservoirs are of natural origin, and the total area of their drainage basin is an impressive 13 hectares. An interesting fact from the park's history is that there were once four lakes, but one of them unfortunately dried up. The reason was the nearby construction of a large shopping center, whose foundation blocked the groundwater that fed the reservoir.
Despite this loss, the remaining lakes continue to delight visitors with their beauty and wildlife. You can find crucian carp in their waters, and wild ducks often swim on the surface, adding charm to the place. The park is especially proud of its perennial oaks. Some of these mighty trees are around three hundred years old and are rightfully recognized as natural monuments. These century-old giants create a unique atmosphere of peace and serve as silent witnesses to the history of these lands.
