Set in a picturesque location on the banks of the Volga, the Emalis Enamel Art Museum is a unique space where ancient traditions and modern artistic pursuits come to life. It is the only institution in Russia entirely dedicated to the art of hot enamel. The museum was opened in 2011 in Yaroslavl within the International Creative Center, founded by People's Artist Alexander Karikh.

The museum's exposition is impressive in its scale: it houses the country's largest collection of works created using the "hot enamel" easel technique. Visitors can see works not only by Russian masters but also by artists from Europe, Japan, China, and the USA. The collection spans the 19th to the 21st centuries, demonstrating a variety of techniques—from classic finift and cloisonné to bold pop-art experiments.
The specialty of this place is that it harmoniously combines museum halls with a living workshop. Emalis is recognized as one of the best private museums in the country and is an essential stop on the Golden Ring cultural map. Here, art is not just preserved; it is created right before the eyes of the guests, turning a visit into an exciting journey into the world of fire and color.
