The arena's main pride is its versatility. Thanks to its "transformer" design, the main court can be easily reconfigured for basketball or futsal (mini-football) competitions. The complex fully complies with the requirements of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), making it one of the top professional venues in the country.

The facility is part of the Match Point multifunctional complex and includes not only a playing area for 3,500 spectators but also training halls, a fitness center, and a medical rehabilitation unit. It is a place where high technology and sporting passion create a unique atmosphere for every guest.

What to Do

The main activity for visitors to the Dynamo Volleyball Arena is, of course, watching exciting volleyball matches. Spectators can enjoy professional-level play in comfort: the stands are designed to provide a perfect view from any seat, while modern lighting and sound systems create a fully immersive experience.

For those who lead an active lifestyle, the arena houses a sports and wellness center. Guests can take advantage of modern gyms and facilities for general physical training. With training courts and a medical rehabilitation center on-site, the arena is a great place for anyone wanting to see the world of professional sports from the inside.

It is also worth noting the building's architectural design—a walk around the arena allows you to appreciate the elegant combination of stone and glass. Inside the complex, sports-themed conferences and press meetings are frequently held, making it a key hub for experts and volleyball fans alike.

Getting There

There are several ways to reach the arena, located at 13 Vasilisy Kozhinoy St. If you prefer public transport, the nearest metro station is Dynamo (Green Line), from which you can walk to the complex in about 15–20 minutes or take a bus to the "Vasilisy Kozhinoy Ulitsa" stop.

For those traveling by car, the route from the MKAD via Marshal Zhukov Avenue takes about 10–15 minutes. A significant advantage for car owners is the large three-level underground parking at the Match Point complex, which has 1,609 spaces, solving any parking issues.

From the city center, it is convenient to take a taxi or use car-sharing services—if traffic is light, the journey takes 20–30 minutes. During rush hour, we recommend using the metro to accurately time your arrival for the start of the sporting event.

History & Facts

Construction of the Dynamo Volleyball Arena began in the fall of 2015 as part of the large-scale Match Point project. Developed by Hals-Development, the goal was to create a modern training base meeting world standards. Work progressed rapidly: by the fall of 2017, over 90% of the concrete structures, including the training halls, were complete.

By October 2019, the 3,500-seat complex was fully finished. During the final stages, the general contractor conducted comprehensive tests of all engineering systems to ensure guest safety. The facility was officially commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2019, providing the Dynamo Volleyball Club with a modern and high-tech home.

Interestingly, during construction, the club's players personally visited the site to evaluate the architectural solutions and layout of their future home. Club management and experts noted the fast pace of work and immediately viewed the arena as a potential base not only for the club but also for the national team.

Time Needed

The length of your visit to the Dynamo Volleyball Arena depends on your purpose. If you are coming to cheer for your favorite team, plan for a 2–3 hour stay. This is enough time to pass security, find your seats, and enjoy a dynamic game in a comfortable setting.

For those planning to use the sports and wellness center infrastructure or have a full workout in the physical training gym, a visit may take 3–4 hours. If your visit includes the press center or participating in events, your stay may be longer.

Working Hours

The operating hours of the volleyball arena are closely tied to the schedule of sporting events and team practices. On match days, the entrance for spectators usually opens an hour and a half to two hours before the game starts.

To ensure your visit is as smooth as possible, we recommend checking the schedule in advance on the official Dynamo Volleyball Club website. This will help you find the exact event start times and the operating hours for sports sections or the fitness gym.
