This museum is a unique memorial space dedicated to the heroic past of the residents of Yaroslavl and the entire country of Russia. The Museum of Military Glory is a branch of the Yaroslavl State Historical-Architectural Museum-Preserve and is the city's only site that so comprehensively reveals the region's contribution to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The collection includes over 500 authentic exhibits, including personal belongings of soldiers, battle banners, and rare archival documents. Special attention is always drawn to an anti-aircraft gun from a patrol boat built at the Yaroslavl Shipyard, a symbol of the courage of local workers and sailors.
The center of attraction is the large-scale exhibition titled "Winners!". It tells not only of major battles but also of daily life on the home front, the selfless labor of women and children, and the moving stories of evacuated orphans who found a new home in the Yaroslavl region.
