The Obelisk of Victory is a majestic memorial complex located in the historical center of Tver on the picturesque left bank of the Tmaka River. The monument is one of the city's primary architectural landmarks and a significant historical site for the entire country of Russia.
The central element of the complex is a slender column 45.5 meters high, set on a powerful reinforced concrete foundation. At the top of the obelisk sits a unique torch bowl, where a bright flame is lit on the most important holidays. The column's facades are decorated with massive copper bas-reliefs depicting the feats of frontline soldiers and heroic labor on the home front.

The complex on Victory Square harmoniously combines the monumentality of Soviet architecture with the beauty of the surrounding nature. In the evening, special lighting and signal lights are turned on, transforming the monument into a striking beacon of memory visible from afar.
