The complex features three pools, each designed for a specific purpose: a safe zone for children, a classic swimming pool, and an entertainment pool with various attractions. Special attention is paid to water quality: thanks to modern equipment, the water is completely filtered five times a day and heated to a comfortable +26-28 degrees Celsius.

In addition to aquatic fun, visitors will find a vast green area for relaxation. For sports enthusiasts, there are two basketball courts and a beach volleyball court, making Aquana a complete outdoor sports and entertainment complex.

What to Do

The main draw for visitors is undoubtedly the water attractions. You can experience an adrenaline rush on the 100-meter slide, relax in artificial whirlpools, or enjoy a gentle hydromassage. For those who prefer a more tranquil pace, there are fountains and spacious areas for swimming.

If you get hungry, an extensive dining infrastructure is at your service: the grounds feature a restaurant, pizzeria, bars, and cozy cafes. Those with a sweet tooth will appreciate the ice cream stands, which are especially popular on sunny days. Between swims, you can head to the sports courts for an active game of volleyball or simply sunbathe on a lounger in the shade of the trees.

For guests' comfort, a full range of services is provided: there are storage lockers for valuables, and rental equipment is available—ranging from comfortable loungers to inflatable rings and balls for team games. This is a place where everyone will find something to enjoy, whether it's an extreme slide descent or a serene break with a book by the water.

Getting There

The modern Aquana complex is ideally located on St. Sava Alley (Aleja Svetog Save 80). Thanks to its proximity to the historical and business core of the city, most tourists prefer to get here on foot—a walk from the central squares takes very little time and allows you to enjoy the city's architecture.

If you are in more distant areas, you can use public transport or taxi services, which are relatively inexpensive in the city. For those traveling by private car, there are convenient access roads. You can use the coordinates POINT(17.20541 44.7739563) or the official address for navigation, which is easily recognized by any map service.

History & Facts

While the entertainment center itself is a modern facility, it is located in a city with incredibly deep roots. Banja Luka traces its history back to the times of the Illyrians and Romans. It was the ancient Romans who first appreciated the strategic location of these lands, building the Kastel Fortress to protect important trade routes along the picturesque Vrbas River.

The official birth of the city's name was recorded on February 6, 1494, in a charter by the Hungarian King Vladislaus II Jagiellon. Since then, the city has lived through many eras, but the 16th century and the period of Ottoman rule had a key influence on its appearance. The first Beylerbey of the Bosnia Eyalet, Ferhad Pasha Sokolović, transformed this place into a thriving center by building hundreds of structures, including the famous mosque and oriental baths.

The emergence of a facility like Aquana is a logical continuation of the city's centuries-old traditions, where water has always played a vital role—from Roman baths to modern recreational zones. Today, the water park symbolizes a new, dynamic stage in the region's development, harmoniously complementing its rich historical heritage.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy all the leisure opportunities, it is worth setting aside 3 to 5 hours for a visit. This is plenty of time not only to swim to your heart's content and try out all the water slides but also to relax comfortably in the green zone or grab a bite at one of the local cafes.

If you plan to combine swimming with a game of volleyball or basketball on the outdoor courts, we recommend allowing half a day for your visit. On hot summer days, many guests prefer to spend nearly the entire daylight period here, enjoying the refreshing water and sunbathing.

Working Hours

When planning your visit, keep in mind that Aquana is a seasonal facility, typically welcoming guests from the end of May to the beginning of September. During the week, the operating schedule varies slightly: from Monday to Friday, the doors are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

On weekends, when the flow of visitors increases, the opening hours are extended. On Saturday, the complex is available from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and on Sunday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. These hours allow you to enjoy swimming both in the morning and in the light of the setting sun.
