In the heart of Banja Luka lies one of the region's most remarkable cultural spaces — the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska. This is a place where history meets the avant-garde: the museum is housed in an old railway station building, which gives its galleries a unique atmosphere and industrial charm.

This museum is widely regarded as the leading art institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on the preservation and promotion of 20th and 21st-century art. Its collection features more than 1,500 exhibits, including not only classic painting and sculpture but also contemporary graphics, photography, video art, and unique kinetic objects.
The museum's collection is thematically divided into three important sections: art of Bosnia and Herzegovina, works by masters from the former Yugoslavia, and a collection of world art. Thanks to frequently changing temporary exhibitions and active programming, the museum remains dynamic and engaging for both tourists and locals alike.
