The Nubian Museum invites you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of an ancient civilization that flourished for millennia on the banks of the Nile. Located in the picturesque city of Aswan, this leading cultural center in Egypt is entirely dedicated to preserving and showcasing the unique heritage of Nubia.

The museum complex, opened in 1997, is impressive in its scale: it covers an area of 50,000 m², much of which is dedicated to a magnificent landscape park. The building itself is a masterpiece of modern architecture, constructed from local sandstone and granite in strict accordance with traditional Nubian forms.
Inside, more than 3,000 priceless artifacts are housed across five thematic halls, ranging from prehistoric times and the era of the Pharaohs to the Coptic and Islamic periods. Here, you can see gold jewelry belonging to ancient rulers, majestic statues, and even rare mummies found in the vicinity of Elephantine.
