Imagine a magnificent green oasis sprawling across the hills in the eastern part of Poland. The UMCS Botanical Garden (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University) is not just a park, but a true living encyclopedia of nature located in the city of Lublin. Covering an impressive area of about 25 hectares, the garden is home to thousands of plant species from all over the world.

Here you will find incredible variety: from an arboretum with a collection of 1,600 species of trees and shrubs to an exquisite rose garden and mysterious greenhouses featuring exotic flora. Of particular value are the 106 trees over a century old, creating the atmosphere of an ancient and majestic forest right within the city limits.
The territory is divided into thematic zones, including a rock garden (alpinarium), a biblical plant section, and a collection of flora from Southern Europe. As an important research center, the UMCS Botanical Garden remains a welcoming place for peaceful relaxation, inspiration, and educational walks at any time of year.
