This striking bronze monument, also known as "Continuity of Generations," is one of the main symbols of Cherepovets. Erected in 2006 on Metallurgov Square, it is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the famous Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant, the industrial heart of Russia.

Created by local sculptor Alexander Shebunin, the composition depicts a working father coming home from a shift and his young son walking briskly alongside him wearing his father's protective hard hat. This touching scene accurately captures the spirit of the city, where the professional traditions of steelworkers are carefully passed down from generation to generation.
The monument is located at the very beginning of Metallurgov Street, at the entrance to a cozy public square. It serves not only as a reminder of the region's industrial achievements but also as a popular spot for walks, enjoying a high rating and the affection of both residents and visitors.
