The Central Park of Culture and Leisure is the green heart of Yoshkar-Ola, nestled in the very center of the capital of the Republic of Mari El, one of the picturesque regions of Russia. This park is more than just a place for a walk; it is a true oasis of tranquility and a favorite leisure destination for both locals and guests alike.

Occupying a vast area of 18 hectares, the park invites visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature and fresh air. Interestingly, it was formerly known as the "Park named after the 30th Anniversary of the Komsomol" and is now rightfully recognized as a site of regional cultural heritage. This underscores its historical and cultural value to the city and the region.
The main pride of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure is its rich botanical diversity. Here, you can find many rare species of trees and shrubs, making the park a kind of open-air botanical garden. Approximately one hundred different types of shrubs and trees are carefully planted throughout its territory, along with a vast number of flowers. The more than 500 rose bushes, planted as far back as 1961 and still delighting visitors with their lush blooms, are particularly admired.
