Bunker B-S 8 is a unique monument of military architecture located in the southern part of Bratislava. Built in the 1930s as part of a powerful defensive system created by Slovakia (then part of Czechoslovakia), this site today serves as a living reminder of Europe's pre-war history.

This two-story fortification is considered the largest and most heavily armed among the heavy bunkers of the Petržalka line of defense. It earned its unofficial name, "The Cemetery," due to its close proximity to a First World War memorial where hundreds of soldiers are buried. Up to 30 people could serve inside simultaneously, coordinating the actions of the entire fortification system on the border with Austria.
Today, through the efforts of volunteers, the bunker has been transformed into a fascinating museum. Visitors can see original artifacts, reconstructed interiors, and technical equipment from the 1930s. This place attracts not only military history buffs but also those who want to take an unusual walk through a picturesque wooded area on the outskirts of the capital.
