Imagine one of the most peaceful and mysterious places hidden within Ronda — the exceptionally well-preserved Arab Baths. This archaeological complex is recognized as one of the most significant monuments of Islamic architecture in Spain. Located in the historic San Miguel quarter, these baths are a unique testament to the mastery of medieval engineers.

The central part of the complex is a spacious hall decorated with elegant horseshoe arches and barrel vaults. One of the most recognizable features is the star-shaped openings in the ceiling, which served for natural light and ventilation, creating a magical play of light and shadow inside.
Unlike many other similar sites, not only have the hall walls been preserved here, but also elements of a complex hydraulic system. You can see the remains of an aqueduct and a water wheel (noria) that once supplied water from a nearby stream, powering the cold, warm, and hot rooms.
