The Puppet Museum (Museo Iberoamericano del Títere) is a magical place in the city of Cádiz where the history of one of the world's oldest theatrical arts comes to life. Opened in 2012, this museum has become a true home for hundreds of characters, each with its own personality and unique story.
Located within the monumental historical complex of Bóvedas Puerta de Tierra, the museum occupies 18 restored vaulted halls. Within these walls, which once housed military barracks, creativity and imagination now reign supreme. This institution was established to preserve the rich heritage of puppeteers, artisans, and theater companies from across the globe for a country like Spain.

The museum attracts visitors not only with its collection but also with its unique architecture. It covers an area of about 1,500 square meters, and the entrance to the exhibition is through a landscaped courtyard where performances and international cultural events are regularly held in the shade of the ancient walls.
